Hi guy, i am planning to build a new rig. i plan to buy i5-3570k, but do i really need that if i dont plan to overclock at all? or should i get the i5-3550 or i5-3450?

Solution
I would go with the i5 3450 if you're not OC'ing. In real world applications, you probably won't notice a huge difference between the 3450 3550 or 3570k.Take the $20 and put it towards something like a Solid State Drive and you'll see a MUCH bigger performance gain!

But for your reference, here are some bench's: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html

As you can see, though slowest of the ivy bridge i5's, 3450 scores higher than all of the SandyBridge i5s, and is not a slow processor at all.
