heyyy so my friends needed a decent pc for college so i sold him mine for cheap, it was an phenom 2 quadcore, 5850, 4 gigs of ram.

so now i wanna build something else just because i can i guess lol?

here is what i got so far:

Approximate Purchase Date: around next weekend

Budget Range: 800 MAX TOPS

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming (1080p) , netflix, college work usage,

Parts Not Required: hard drive ( they are too expensive, i can do with my good old 500gig), monitor, keyboard, mouse, cooler ( have a v8 laying around)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg primarily, but can deal with frys as is super close to me.

Country: the united states of censored america!

Parts Preferences: not really?

Overclocking: maybe, just a little.

SLI or Crossfire:no sir

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

this is what i have in mind so far with prices off new egg.:

NZXT Phantom PHAN-001WT White Steel / Plastic Enthusiast ATX Full Tower Computer Case- $125

ASRock 870 Extreme3 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard- $80

MSI R6950 Twin Frozr III 1G/OC Radeon HD 6950 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - $240

AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Six-Core Desktop Processor FD6100WMGUSBX- $160

GeIL Enhance CORSA 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model GEC38GB1333C9DC or any comparable memory to that, i just like because is orange :D :$40

that totals $643.95

so anything else you guys would recommend being amd or intel, im ok with both, different configs, or a little better specs for the extra 100 bucks? im pretty sure this is not gonna be a big jump from the system described at first that i sold, but a little bit more up to date i guess :)

thank you guys! :)
