GTX 550 Ti Or HD 5870 Or HD 6950?

Hello,

This is my first post, and I'm in doubt about buying a VGA.

I'm in doubt if I buy a Nvidia GTX 550 Ti or a 1GB Sapphire HD5870 Vapor-X or a 1GB XFX HD6950.

The price is about the same.

And Eyefinity or 3D Vision, really makes a difference when comes about buying a VGA Card?

Thanks!

    welcome to tomshardware, goth1c.
for the same price, hd 6950 would be the best among the 3 you listed. the 550ti is a far weaker card compared to the other two imo.
    here's a comparison between 5870 and 6950 1gb.
and this is the launch review of 6950.
6950 is quite higher than the 550ti in tom's gaming card hierarchy.
besides, the 6950 should scale better in cfx in case you want to add another one down the road.
  2. Thanks man! I'm looking at the comparison now, but,

Do you think that this 3D vision Vs Eyefinity thing is a point that matters?
