Hey guys I had a question about which CPU to upgrade to.
My current mobo is this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131767
My current CPU is the 960t..I got the 212+ for OCing.
Micro center has a 8120(black edition) on sale for 150 and a 1045t on sale for 110 /w a free mobo I could sell on ebay for 40 pretty easy.
Which would be the best investment and good in the future...I plan to mainly do multi tasking by running as many VMWares I can..I have a program I run for a game going all the time so that's why( a game and the program runs..on my CPU now I have 8 running and its hard to do much else like play a game) and I'd also like to play some games too without it bogging down.
The 1045t sounds really nice because I can sell the mobo and get some $ back..I can't really find any comparisons for the 1045 to the 8120 so any advice or charts or anything I'd greatly appreciate.
So my question is, which is the best all around investment?
Is the 1045t hard to OC if it's not a black edition?
