Hi,

So I finally received my DVI to HDMI cables today and I go to hook up my PC to my Samsung FX2490HD monitor and the picture works but it's like being eye raped trying to read the text.

I've got the screen resolution set at 1980x1020 @ 60 Hz. I've tried adjusting the Overscan in the Catalyst Control Center and I know I have the up-to-date drivers.

Anyone else run into this problem? I'm stumped.

Thanks,
Mike

On my Sammy HDTV, only one of the HDMI ports is 'designed' to work well with a computer's DVI output. I don't know why that is, but moving the output to a different HDMI port looks horrible. Check your manual to see if a specific HDMI port is specified for yours as well.
