Display issues with a tower computer to Sanyo Flatscreen

A Friend of mine is having issues with her computer, when she moved her computer to a new location the display on her Tv stopped working, she has a VGA to HDMI connector on it as of now and it is setup to use the HDMI, but when she reconnected all the peripherals and turned on the Computer the Display never showed up on her computer, No Beep codes went off telling if it was RAM or her Video card, and she has no actual monitors in her house to check and see if it is the connector itself, the last thing she told me was that the TV would flash then go to a black screen, no output from the video card what so ever.
