Finally received all my hardware to build my new system and I'm a little confused with installing the Hyper Evo 212. This is on an AsRock Z77 Extreme board.
This is how I installed it. First, I installed the rear bracket with the studs and nuts. Then I cleaned the CPU and base of the Evo and added thermal compound. This is where I'm a little confused and think I might have did something wrong. After putting the Evo on the processor and installing the "X" bracket I noticed it is possible for the cooler to move without much pressure on it. Just wanted to ask and get some advice before I went any farther. I'm thinking I might have did something wrong and the cooler isn't suppose to be moving at all. Thanks.
