Customize Open/Places bar in win7

How do I customize the places bar, when opening files in different programs, such as Dreamweaver?

I recently upgraded -- computer and to win7. I had modified my previous system (XP) so I saw the places I needed to look into when opening files, say from Dreamweaver, or Notepad.

Now, with Windows 7, when I click open, it shows Recent Places, Desktop, Libraries, computer and Network.

I went the easy way and modified the Registry and I now have the folders I needed.

I guess you could have made another library pointing to the location you wanted??
Not played with libraries much but might be worth a look.

I decided to go the Registry way. I don't yet know very much about Windows 7.
