pc2100 32megX64 or 32megX72 (what?)

I'm putting the pc2100 in our new Athalon T-Bird 1.2 with the A7M266 motherboard. When getting ready to order the memory I noticed different prices for what appeared the same memory except the difference was this.

256MB DDR DIMM 32Meg X 64
or
256MB DDR DIMM 32Meg X 72

can someone tell me the difference and what should I use?

The ,256MB DDR DIMM 32Meg X 72, is more expensive because it has ECC on it. I don't know much about ECC, but know that unless your running a sever you don't really need it. ECC also tends to have a higher latency.
