Yes the H77 series chipset is really designed to be more of a media chipset. So while you maybe able to find a higher end Z77 chipset with the same audio outputs it is going to be on a higher end board. For the unlocked processors like the Intel® Core™ i5-3570K you are going to focus on Z77 chipset since it will allow you to change the multiplier in the bios that is the key to overclocking these processors.

for $300 get i3 2120 and H77 motherboard, if you're thinking of upgrading in the near future to a 'k' chip go Z77.
If you do other things besides gaming at least think about the FX4100 or FX6100 from AMD as prices have dropped recently but if you mostly game then definitely the i3

Can you please suggest me a good combination for gaming.. i am planning to buy i3 2130(3.4GHz).. is this a good one? now which is the best motherboard for this? my budget is $140
