Hi everyone, I'm building a gaming PC and I'm almost done, the final stop is to pick a case, and having never custom built a PC I really don't know whether all this stuff will fit in these cases.
I had a couple in mind, but I'm really, really open to suggestions and would just love some.
The PC parts are:
Intel Core i5 3570K
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Motherboard
Intel 520 Series 120GB SSD
Gigabyte GTX680 2GB
G.Skill Ares F3-1600C9D-8GAO 8GB (2x4GB)
Sony AD7280SGB DVDRW OEM
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB WD1002FAEX
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler
Silverstone Strider Plus 750W ST75F-P
The cases I was looking at are:
Antec Nine Hundred Two V3 Case - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_733&products_id=16228
Antec Eleven Hundred Black Gaming Case - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_733&products_id=18876
Thermaltake Black Chaser MK-I Full Tower - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_1081&products_id=17340
I really, REALLY liked this Lian Li one below, but I read a review somewhere that newer motherboards like mine, don't fit? Absolutely heart breaking because it seemed like such a great case T.T
Lian Li Lancool First Knight PC-K63 - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_30_394&products_id=16686
I'm really hoping to have a decent sized window to show off my new rig, and preferably at least one USB 3.0 port at the front.
The issue I had was when the guy at MSY told me that it would be difficult to install a GTX680 in an Antex 902, I won't be doing the actual building myself and obviously need all the parts to fit, is there something I should be looking for, or how do I tell if there will be enough room for the cables coming from the PGU?
This one - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=18307 - was recommended by the guy at MSY, but I really would rather it have a window..
Sorry to rattle on a bit, but I'm starting to stress about getting a case that will fit all of this stuff :/
My budget is around $150, less would be better.
Any help or advice would be great thanks!
