Low 3Dmark06 score (very low)

Hi, I just got my XFX HD 6870 today and I am running 3Dmark06. I got my results back and it's around 14600. When I had my 8800GTS G92, i had around 12100. I thought there might be something wrong??

I see that the average is about 19000 and usually over that.

E8400 @ 3.0GHz
P5N-d
Corsair XMS2 THX 4GB DDR2 800Mhz
Corsair 750W PSU

Nothing is OC'ed

Anyone know if there could be any problems with it?

Could be a bit CPU limited, it runs at 1024x768 by default, which won't really stretch the legs of either card.

Try running some hi-res games with fraps and look. I bet the difference becomes easily noticable.
