Best 27 inch led monitor

I haven't purchased a monitor since 2007 and its time for a upgrade I had a lcd monitor 21 inches I believe at 1680x1050 and I am wanting to move to a nice 27 inch monitor I see that led is the better choice to go with I'm looking all over at newegg and amazon but I really feel lose I've been out of the loop with monitors and that tech can anyone help I am mainly a gamer

The only 27 inch monitors worth buying have a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 but their price is more in the $750 to $900 range.

A 27 inch 1920 x 1080 monitor just has a large pixel pitch making text appear jagged. At this resolution you're better off sticking with a 23 inch monitor.

2ms response time for gaming, 1080p. I've never used a 27" 1080p monitor so I can't comment on pixel pitch, but if you want a 27" LED backlit monitor under $350 for gaming that's your best bet.
