P.s. for those of you with time and calculators, i know the price isnt exact, i edited out the savings, and left the subtotal to give ppl a general idea of cost.

Now here is the question. I obviously plan on going with a 3 monitor gaming setup, eyefinity or 3d vision. And i obviously want a dual video card solution, so do i go with 6970 or gtx570, and if anyone is actually using a 3 monitor setup please post that this is the case, and let me know any performance issues you notice, or things you would have done differently. And anyone who has sli please let me know your experiences.

Solution
The nice thing about the 6970s is the 2gb of VRAM. Either solution will be fast, 6970s though are generally faster than 570s.

Just look at reviews at 2560x1600. I know it's a little less than what you'll be at but at least it gives an idea of high resolution performance.

Also, $400 for a monitor stand seems outrageous.

Lol, yeah your absolutely right, unfortunately the stand is insane, but i can semi- justify this, asus, acer, samsung, almost any brand these days with backlight lcd's have crap stands, its the most marked down thing on any of there reviews. And i dont want my 3 monitors swaying like there at sea when i sit down at my desk, or i bump something adjusting a leg, kids walk bye, yadda yadda. I have a pretty busy house. Anywho the other vendor, ergotron, has 2- 3 monitor stands at around 250 to 300 bucks, but they are a fixed 15 degree stands. this one is adjustable, and for the price the only one that will allow me to mount 23 inch monitors.
