So i have a evga gtx 570
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Mini-HDMI-Lifetime-Warranty-012-P3-1570-AR/dp/B004EHZD5W/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1322071977&sr=8-2

The problem is that i keep crashing in bf3 and batman arkham city saying that i run out of memory for the video card.
I don't know how to fix this problem if you have any ideas it would be greatly appreciated :).

I can run bf3 on medium without crashing but i didn't buy a 570 to play on medium...
In batman it crashes with the same problem regardless of high or medium settings and i run the game at 60 with vsync on on high or medium so....wtffff

sorry to get on the OPs thread but.....

i have a crashing issue too if you considering the entire computer freezing up to be crashing. Seriously didnt make this setup to crash 4 times a night playing bf3. i crash everytime i stress out the GPU ex: (knifing some1, flying the heli, running proning to shoot) i assume the 570 doesnt have enough vram or maybe my cpu is bottlenecking because its not overclocked? i am running dual 570!!!!

My setup:
Cpu: i7 950 3.06ghz (non overclocked)
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
GPU: SLI evga gtx 570 sc
RAM: 3x 4gig patriot viper xtreme ddr3 2000mhz
PSU: corsair ax1200

Ok, this suggestion is for both of you, run Furmark and keep watch of the temps, make sure its running for atleast 20mins

post temps, also try running memtest for atleast 3 passes :)

can u provide a link to download furmark?
i do have evga precision and currently on idle 1 card is running at 46C at max fan speed and the other is 37C on lowest fan speed. one card is having air flow issues because the 2nd card is in its way.

my cpu is currently at 45C

hope this info is helpful in solving this issue?

What is happening when your games crash? I have a GTX 570 SC and when playing certain games (Crysis 2 or BF3) my screen goes blank and the gpu load suddenly drops to zero. It appears setting you card to run at stock speeds (732/1464/1900) fixes it. Try to see if that works.

Also, to ghost132, I have no idea why your card is crashing but it definitely shouldn't be running out of memory unless you play on some really high resolution and even then it is questionable. Sorry, I can't help more than that. :(

Did you get this worked out cuz I am having the exact same issue. Screen goes black, the music seems to loop and the only way to stop it is to hard restart.

The problem is well known with evga and zotac factory oc'd Gtx 570/580s. I had this issue with sli 580s in bf3 and swapped out every component before reading on forums that these cards need a voltage bump. There is firmware out for evga to fix...no dice with Zotac. I run MSI afterburner and a bump to 1.05 v (from 1.0) fixed the problem. (computer would hard lock before)
Hope this helps!

dear sir even i got this problem with my hd 6770 . in bf3 anything above medium would give me a bsod.
this was when i used 32bit windows .now with 64 bit i run the same game @ ultra with no bsod.
upgrading your os is guarenteed to work because these games all requireAT least 4gb ram to load the textures which 32 bit is not able to provide
