Folder Redirection

Was experimenting (big mistake!) and have successfully moved (or redirected) the My Documents folder from drive C to D. Now when I try and move it back I get the message Folder Redirection Failed... Access is denied. I am logged on as a user with Admin privileges. This is probably irrelevant, but I do not log on with a password.

Is this a privileges issue? Could someone please help me?

Try backdate the system to an earlier date if you can.

I managed to get to the bottom of this. There was a zero bytes folder left in the original location that was preventing moving the folder back. I rebooted and that removed the zero bytes folder and everything worked.

Must have been a NTFS issue of some sort.

You can just copy your files back over to the original location (which cannot be deleted). Then change the My Documents setting to reference that folder. My My Documents is always on my D drive because that's the drive that's mirrored.
