M'key, my 260GTX gone nuts, i'm considering upgrading it.

Options i'm considering -
Radeon HD 6870 (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7229008&Sku=G452-6870)
MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II GeForce GTX 560 Ti Video Card - 1GB (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=458652&CatId=3669)
XFX HD-695X-CNFC Radeon HD 6950 Video Card - 2GB (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=93094&CatId=7005)

Specs Lucky Card will be working on
Q9550 2.83, 16GB Kingston HyperX ~1600, Gigabyte P45-UD3P.

i want to play BF3, Skyrim and similar games on at LEAST High quality on 1900/1200 ~24 inch monitor.

i don't think so. those 6950 was quite a deal after rebate. GTX560 Ti and 6950 is on par in term of performance (with 6950 slightly ahead) but the extra 1GB on 6950 is useful if you play games that likes to eat gpu VRAM a lot.

Has your GTX 260 been freezing your PC up a lot? I think the last few drivers have been conflicting with Win 7.

My GTX260 is not only freezing my pc, but causing EXTREMALLY annoying IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bluescreens on almost every game i play.
i've tried several (i.e 5) different drivers. alas with not much result.
and PC is on Vista not 7.
