Yikes, is there some reason you need a Dell branded PSU?

That thing is scary.. please list your model of PC and what graffics card you are upgrading too.

Don't buy that!!!! thats a server Power Supply!!

I would bet money you cant fit that into your case..

My computer:

The graphics card I intend to get:

http://www.pcsuppliers.co.uk/products.asp?partno=11202-00-20G&go

I'm low on cash at the moment I'm limited to about £95 for a PSU and Graphics card but I've found a Radeon 7750 for £69.

Why won't it fit? Is it made to fit in Dell computers only or is it too big?

Thanks

From what little i could find on that first PSU you linked its a EPS Server power supply also you note it has a extra bracket on it. You would have to remove that bracket and then extend some of the wires to make that fit into your case. Plus its used!! a server is on 24/7 for years.. PSU's have a normal life span. That thing is scary.

I'll check around and see what we can find that would fit your Case better.

Thanks ct1615, and may I ask, won't the 149/229 watts added with the other components surpass 300 watts? Sorry if I'm reading the graph wrong, or have a misunderstanding of computer hardware.

I just thought that I needed a 450w psu because that's what it says the minimum requirement is.

Alderon, if you can find something I'd greatly appreciate it. £26 is just about my limit but I guess I could stretch that to the 35/50 mark if absolutely necessary.

Cheers

http://www.amazon.co.uk/CORSAIR-Builder-Series-CX430-Supply/dp/B0053UPYHQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1336326354&sr=1-1

Yeah, i can't find anything anywhere near 26 GBP that i wouldn't consider a fire hazard.

The CX430 is 36 GBP i would shop around your other PC stores and see if i couldn't find a better deal then Amazon thou. CX430 will last a good wile and power your system just fine. Also you are getting a great deal as Corsair sells these at cost, they make there money on the more pricey units in there line.

Also whats up with VAT (Value added Tax??) Dang thats a huge tax if that what it is.

I guess the Corsair it is then. I've found one for £31 which I guess will have to do. VAT is at 20% at the moment. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Thanks guys.

Done. I bought it from Amazon since I trust them it ended up costing me £40 (£36+4 for delivery). It should be here sometime next week along with the graphics card. Cheers again.
