SPECS:

AMD ATHLON II X4 3.0 Ghz
4 GB Mushkin DDR3-1333 Mhz RAM
SAPPHIRE HD RADEON 5570 1 GB
480 Watt PSU
80 GB ULTRA IDE HARD DRIVE (funny story about me having an extremely old hard drive, currently cant afford a decent one due to flooding in Thailand).

Im running into a little trouble with a game called APB Reloaded, i get major FPS drops, some other ppl claim they have rigs almost identical to mine (excluding hard drive), yet they have no problems.

Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

No software ever sped up a computer. Stop recommending that crap.

Change low settings in game or buy (7200Rpm hdd or 120Gb ssd

A 7200RPM drive or SSD will only speed up load times. It will not impact FPS.

The 5570 is a bit weak. What resolution are you playing at? Also that game is an online MMO? It might be just server lag. Does it tell you what the latency is to individual servers?

I'm at a fairly high-ish resolution 1600 X 900 i think. But yeah if i turned down my settings a bit I know it would help, i just wanted to diagnose if their was a certain aspect of my Comp that was bringing the rest of my systems performance down. Yes it is an online MMO, but I overall get great Latency, and it isn't server lag (in this game if the server lags, crazy *** happens.). Hmmm maybe I'll OC the 5570 a little. But a GPU upgrade is a viable option. Any upgrade reccomendations? :D

I used to use that, but I started getting Blue Screens after a while. I heard some reports of it taking out necessary processes that are related to your GPU...causing system failures. :ouch:

Logisys is pretty much a "do not buy" brand as far as quality goes but it should power a HD6770 with no problems. What is your budget? A HD6850 would allow you to max just about anything at 1600 x900. A HD5770 would max/high most games.

Yikes, I hope my PSU doesn't burn out anytime soon... Uhmm i was hoping from an area of $50-$90. Which when it comes to graphics card, is being cheap. But from what I can tell those cards would definitely kick things up a notch. Like Crisis 2 on high.
