I purchased a Linksys NSLU2, but did not know you had to format with Linux partitions. this isn't a bad thing. But I was hoping to be able to move my External HD's to other computers as needed..
Than I saw a review about the OvisLink MU-5000FS...
But it is limited to Fat32 and 32gig partitions.. Now they tell you their is a utility that can fix that problem.. But I am unsure of whether I will be able to move the External HD's around if I go that route..
Anyone know of a NAS unit that does not come with a hard drive and I can just plug in my USB 300GB hard drive..
Tom talks about some devices he is going to be reviewing soon inside his NSLU2 hacking guide but does not say which ones..
thanks
