Does Service Pack 2 recognize ATA100?

I read somewhere that Win 2k doesn't recognize ATA/100 drives without a patch, and that is the reason why it apears to run slower than Win Millenium.

I downloaded a patch but it says that it is only for Service Pack 1.

Does Service Pack 2 include this patch or do I have to download it separately?

There's a registry entry you have to change to enable ata66/100.

I have no idea where it is. I use a program to change the entry.

Service Pack 2 does include the hotfix for ATA-100 HDD's.

Yes. SP2 does fix ata/100 among other things.

Oh yeah, definetly fixes- SP2 is great (when I had Win2k).
