Connect Switch Wirelessly to Router

I am hoping someone can help.
I have a adsl wireless router that connects to the only phoneline in the building. I have a work area in a different room of the building and I will be using a switch to connect aprox 8 PC's. The trouble I am having is how to connect the switch wirlessly to the router.
I dont want to use wireless cards or adapters in the PC's.

I hope someone can help.

You need a wireless bridge.

As in an access point? I didn't think that would work, I thought access points were to access the internet through them, not to enable a device to connect to a router.
How would it need to be set up? Router -> Access point which is connected to uplink port on the switch?
