Anyone purchase a 6950 and flashed to 6970 within the past month?

Yes, I know there is a guide out there on how to do it. Just wondering what manufacture yours was and if you got it to work. I heard some rumors that the newer models were not able to flash, so I'm just wondering if you recently got yours and it works.

My 6950 is Gigabyte.

I would only attempt to flash if it has a dual bios switch. The little performance it gives isn't worth bricking your card.
