Do all monitors make this high frequency sound?

My monitor has this constant high frequency sound...
when i kinda tilt it with my hands, it's silent, but it's isn't a permanent solution.

i heard from somewhere that increasing the brightness above a certain level gets rid of the sound, but that doesn't seem practical to me. besides, i'm a person who likes to use monitors on low brightness.

so is this normal? if it is, i can live with it...
but if it isn't, is there a solution?
if not, i guess i'll have to ask them to change it into a better one... i dunno :p

I have only experienced this type thing with CRT Monitors that have a whiny capacitor. If you want a permanent fix you should look at changing the screen.

Whiny capacitors do happen in lcds too. I just had a lcd I replaced the caps because of whining. They were obviously blown. Though since you tilt, it goes away sounds like something else faulty. If it's new, you should get it replaced.
