I'm going to install office xp pro 2002 on my buddy's
computer. He was using 98' and has high speed on a new
computer. I have xp pro 2002 on a disc and am going to
install. Do I need to format his hard drive first before
I install from disc? Thanks

Have to ask - Have you already used the CD on your system? You do know that
you can only use that on one computer. You can't just spread it around like
you could with the other versions.

No version of Windows has ever allowed you to spread it around. One
license, one computer.
