Which one is better?

So I have 2 graphics cards, one on my "new" (I've had it for over a year) computer which is a Nvidia GeForce GT 320 1GB and I have another one not being used, which was on my old computer, it's a ATI Radeon 4670 with 1GB as well.

So recently my dad got rid of the old computer but he saved the ATI card.

I'm thinking about buying a new graphics card, but I'll only be doing that by Christmas, so until then which one would be better?

ATI Radeon 4670 HD - 1GB (it says PowerColor, not sure if that's a brand or something)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 320 - 1GB

So which one is better? If possible give me ALL the details as to why one is better than the other.

Thank you!

That's odd... I paid like 50€ for the ATI about 2 years ago, I never expected it to actually beat the nVidia this hard...

Questions:

OpenGL Version OpenGL 3.3 OpenGL 3.0

Does the OpenGL version matter that much?

Also...

Unified Shaders 72 320(64x5)

Nvidia has 72, ATI 320... That doesn't seem right... Does it?

Is it really that much better?

OpenGL is just a set of instruction. Bigger number = latest version.

You cant compare share count of Nvidia vs ATI because both have different architecture.

Things you should look at are memory, memory speed, pixel rate, etc.

Simply put, the ATI 4670 is a medium end card which is 2 years older compared to the low end Nvidia GT320.

Alright, I'll go with the ATI 4670, it's not like this is a permanent solution anyway. By the end of December/beginning of January I'll be upgrading it either way.

Thanks everyone for the quick replies!

it's best example is

ati hd 5970 old dual gpu
nvidia gtx 570 latest
ati 5970 beat an gtx570 easily rather it's old technology.

**** my life.

This is what you get when you make your dad buys the stuff.

Packard Bell iMedia is by far the worst PC I have ever had.

This crap is too small, was gonna change the graphics, but I can't because it doesn't fit. Was also gonna add another 500GB HDD, apparently I can't either because this crap only has slots for 1.

I've always had the card, but it wasn't being used. Today I was gonna switch it with this one but it just doesn't fit, the fan is way too big and the case is way too small...
