Athlon T-Bird 800
128mb pc100
MSI K&T Pro 2A mobo
Ata 33 6.4 gb HD
Leadtek Geforce 2 mx
soundblaster live value
2 x NICs (realtek and Cnet)
Creative dxr2 decoder and 5x dvd rom
winmodem 56K
HP 8250i cdrw
Whenever I play 3d accerlated games my computer will crash, The game will run for a while and then crash and I will have to restart with the reset switch. I have disable 4x agp support, am running DX8 and Windows 2000 Pro, I also have a network of 2 other pc's set up on my pc with ics through a cable modem (what I use the 2 NICs for). I have the latest drivers installed for everything. CPu temp is about 30 - 35 adn my geforce is cool, have not overclocked anything. Cant seem to work out what is wrong, please help. Will also add 3d Mark 2000 does not run very well, if at all or XL R8r.

And the same problem

I solved this probem by reducing the agp speed from 4x to 2x

But w98 runs fine with 4x agp

It is MS again i quess
