Cannot set home page

Hi all. My "home page" has been hijacked by
some stupid ad ware and now I can't change
it back.
Tools->Internet Options->Home page has been
made so I can't change it. I found an EASY
solution a while ago in the knowledge base
but can't seem to find it again. There is one
where I have to edit the register.I didn't want
to do that.
Please help! I don't want to give them the
satifaction at looking at their ugly page everytime
I log on.
