computer completely freezing up with windows 7. brand new Toahiba X500-110. 2 days old.

  1. take it or send it back get a new one!
  2. Call tech support.
  3. Do a complete factory restore and then check that there isn't a patch to update the recovery partition for better W7 compatibility. If that falls take it back.
  4. I'll be number 4 to say call tech support / take it back. Sounds like you have a RAM and/or heat problem.
