Can I run Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2GB with Physx card?

Hi,
I want to know that my card can take support of a seperate physx card without using 2 or more displays.I don't want take a dedicated physx card,only need a seperate beacause it will need me to take 2 displays and I don't have more than 1.Simple question is:Can I run physx with HD 6950 2GB without using more than one monitor?
