im new to the computer hardware field and i was wondering wich graphics card is the best for playing things like gta iv im not a big gamer i don't need that high of a resolution the game at min settings is good

For starters, you have a great CPU (i5 2300 I believe). The game is more CPU bound than GPU, but that shouldn't be much on an issue for you. What is your budget?

Since your PSU is 300W, I'd recommend an HD 6670. It's still a decent card though.

Your CPU is better than the ones in the video.
You should expect slightly better performance in multiplayer.
Only in process intensive levels in the campaign will the i5 shine.
Other than, that, there isn't much difference in performance in BF3 campaign between a dual core and quad core.
Also, resolution matters.
The higher the resolution, the more stress on the GPU.
You may lose several frames.
