What kind of psu do you need for an hd 6990?

Or crossfire with 6870 1 gb with a 6970 2 gb, my psu is 700 w.

What exactly psu do u have?

mod xtreme pro is my psu, with 700 w. I want to max out graphics with the best performance, most of my games look like crap on the default ( best performance settings). So would i need 1200 for using crossfire with a 6870 1gb and 6970 2gb? its either that or just a 6990 by itself.
