Is this a good deal on this setup from a friend?

Can this setup run and max Guild Wars 2 at 40-60 FPS at high res?

Agreed with amuffin, but I would doubt that it would max out most games with Eyefinity on a single 6870. I only say that, since you say you can get the three monitors with it. With a single monitor, you should be good.

Yeah ill be honest with you. I am probably not going to use all 3 monitors and try to max out Guild Wars 2. But is there anything I can or should upgrade on it? its the Double D radeo 6870 btw

No, I'd say it looks good for a single monitor setup. MAYBE a SSD (just for general system speed) and a GPU upgrade at some point, but that's nitpicking.

That's totally up to you. If you already have a good monitor, I guess there's really no reason to get the monitors too, unless you want to use them in a 3 screen setup for other things besides gaming.

are there any power 1 cards you can suggest to switch out for it? would that bottleneck anything?

No current cards will be bottlenecked by the 2500k.

Alright. Hes considering 800 for the entire setup with the 3 monitors. Or 625 for the tower itself. Should I just take the 3 monitors and call it a day or just settle with the Tower?

Sucks because I just went to microcenter and bought the z77 pro3 asrock and I5 2500k for 229 dollars combined

Like I said, that's completely up to you, but the whole setup combined for just $800 is a great deal IMO.
