G850 2.9GHz 65w
Which will last longer and perform better in a small 24/7 server?
Im planning on buying a TX3 for this so that should be a good cooler for this! Do you think the temp would be less on the
2120T? The 2120T is like $135 and $90 for the G850 so which one?
Do you think the LGA 775 or LGA 1155 is better for pentium dual cores?

lga 1155 for Pentiums, what work is this server going to be doing? If you can take advantage of hyperthreading then go with the i3, if not go with the penitum.

REMEMBER G850/G860=i3-2xxx without hyperthreading!!!

Well, i will be using it for mulltible things but the minecraft server is multi threaded.

Really? The only thing it needs for a hard drive is chat logging otherwise it's not much!

Unless you have a S775 CPU kicking about, S1155 will be better as it's more modern. The CPU you need will depend upon the tasks it is for...I don't know about Minecraft, but the other tasks wouldn't need a powerful CPU AFAIK. The G620 is cheaper than the G850, and can be underclocked to lower the power consumption to similar levels of the 2120T.
