I started playing sc2 on my old desktop comp and the cpu is bottlenecking (obviously) I have a amd radeon gpu. I cant remember what kind but i can update once i get home from work. Also would the pentium d make a huge difference im guessing it would with it having 3.4 ghz but with it being old i dont know.

Hello otto911

Pentium D 945 is supported by your motherboard.
Do you already have the 945?
There are other options that are higher performance CPUs.

thanks for the post wr2.

this is just my old comp that i built a few years back and just decided to upgrade the cpu. I am actually going to be building a new comp hopefully by the end of this month so I am not to worried at getting that great of a cpu for it.
