Ok so heres the build, keep in mind i dont plan to oc, do i dont need a k core. Also the power supply comes standard with the case, and folks have put 590's in these b4 so yes im sure it will power a 580. As far as the cooler your pretty much stuck going stock because of size constraints and i dont see any trusted names for after market coolers that fit the build.

The Scythe Shuriken is pretty small, that might fit. Other than that, nice build. I have the same SSD ;)

EDIT: One thing actually, I would certainly consider the HD 7970 since it's noticeably better and doesn't cost much more. Seems kinda silly to have a hybrid drive for storage as well so you could save cash there by getting an F3 or something.

Yeah, scythe is one of the brands i dont trust lol. And I went with the 580 simply because nvidia has waaay better driver support then amd. I know they promised to do better this year, but both times ive had amd cards they a. both died, and b. wouldnt always run my older games. And as far as the hybrid its worth it to me, since i also play mmos along with fps, trust me there is alot of disk reading going on and benefits to be had with a hybrid. Also its going to store games, so thats why its a hybrid and not another ssd.

That box is gonna be like an oven I have a lanbox lite by thermaltake and let me tell you, invest in some extra fans for the case.

Attach to vent holes on the side.

Yeah gonna go with the coolermaster.

@ spasmolytic46 what would be the point in buying the case to just attach a ton of fans from that outside?

I would change to the CPU to the K model too, for $20 it's worth it just in case you change your mind. Also it would be worth way more should you come to sell it.

Put them inside. There isn't much room, but you can put thin 60mm fans in small places.

The point is that your hardware doesn't croak from heat death.

nah, if you look on youtube and watch a few builds you realize really quickly the reason why they have that 180mm fan on top is because thats all that can fit. Your motherboards power plug in is right there at that window and at the other is the card itself, the only thing i could do is get a corsair h60 in there, but i dont oc so i dont care about extreme cooling.

Well that fan up top will certainly help, I'm just saying from one guy with a small case to another do everything you can for ventilation on those parts. If you can fit an H60, it might not be a bad idea.
