does 3i 2310m have widi capabilities?

Does your notebook have WiDi? Not all makes/models do.
The i3-2310M will support Wireless Display if the manufactures have set up the notebook for WiDi.

WiDi is based off from the wireless card and software installed on the laptop. It is not a feature of the processor. So you can have a laptop with WiDi that has the Intel® Core™ i3-2310m, but not all laptops with Intel Core i3-2310m will have WiDi.

If you let us know the model of your laptop we can try to look it up to see if came with WiDi support. Also if it does have WiDi it should have a sticker on it from the manufacturer saying that it has WiDi.

thanks for the info. the computer is inspiron 14r. if it is not capable now can i purchase what i need to make it widi capable? what and from who?
