It's my first time building a PC, I intend to use this PC for gaming, and I do plan on using SLI. I've already purchased the CPU, the RAM, the Video Card(s), the Hard Drive, and the Case; I just need to find the proper motherboard and power supply to complete it.

The parts I plan on using are as follows:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4
*Note: CPU I intend to upgrade my CPU later, for now I just want to know if it will work with the rest of the system.

Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula

RAM: G. Skill Ripjaws F3-10666CL7D-8GBRH

Video card: GIGABYTE GV-N460OC-1GI

Hard Drive: Seagate Momentus 7200.4 ST9500420AS
*Note: I'm aware that the form factor does not match that of the case I purchased, so I also want to confirm whether or not an "OWC 2.5" to 3.5" Drive Adapter Bracket" would resolve that issue.

Power Supply: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX850-S-B 850W

It would be useful if you had provided links

DONT use a 2.5 inch hard drive in a desktop computer . They are slower . Buy a 3.5 inch drive instead .

There are many cheaper motherboards that can SLI two GTX 460's

A 750 watt psu like the corsair TX 750 will be plenty

Your CPU will work with the system.
The ROG MoBo is quite expensive, and IMO not worth the money.

Rosewill is not a good choice for PSUs. yes, some of their PSUs are quite decent or even good, but NEVER go cheap on the PSU. it's the most important part of a PC. I recommend XFX, Silverstone, Antec, Corsair, NZXT, and SeaSonic for PSUs.

Do you plan on overclocking? How about SLI? If so, this will do:
