Advice for gaming\photo\video PC

Appreciate any advice you knowledgeable guys might have...looking to build a solid gaming PC (skyrim :pt1cable:  ) also used for photography and video editing, blu-ray movies, and music. Also looking for advice where to buy components..i am seeing most of you go to new egg.

I haven't built a PC in years so I feel like I am learning all over again...

Here was my first attempt ... I am sure there are ways to tweak parts to get this closer to 1k...ideas?

I am not loyal to anything except I do want an intel i5 chip...everything else I appreciate any advice and opinions...I am sure I could find a cheaper case...possibly power supply as well...

Anyone have the video card? thoughts on that specifically?

am I missing anything?
