Just installed new CPU fan... Temps OK?

Hi all. So i just installed a Hyper212 Evo fan, and don't know if I got everything right... The fan itself is running at about 500 RPM which worries me. I'm also wondering how the CPUTIN and AUXTIN temps are, and if thats cool. Any help would be appreciated!

This is at idle, I haven't fired up any games because I don't want to hurt my baby until I get at least some reassurance.

More about just installed temps
  1. As you can see IMG tags dont work here so ...
Also we'll need to now which processor...
But for an i5 or i7:
at idle you should see mid 20's to low 30's
at max, running prime even overclocked to say 4.5 you should see high 50's to 60's
alot depends on ambient temp and the actual processor. LOL
  2. Sorry - http://s1131.photobucket.com/albums/m542/heavytr3vy/compy/?action=view&current=SysTemps.png

This is an i2500k, stock clocked. probably about 67 ambient
  3. Don't worry about idle. See how you do under load. Then OC.
  4. The 212's fan is low-speed at idle and even under load if you have reasonably good case ventilation: mine is doing ~600RPM idle and ~700RPM load.

Temp-wise, if there were obvious mounting problems, your idle core temperature would be much higher than ~32C. People with loose HSFs often end up seeing idle temps over 45C.
  5. That's about what mine idles at, at load, running folding@home at stock speeds, it hovers around 50C
  6. Thanks for the help!
  7. Seems pretty normal. I have my 2500k clocked at 4.4ghz cooled by the same cooler and I have never seen temps higher than the mid 50s under load. Idle temps are around 27-32.
