I am curious if a single 570 gtx will use more bandwidth then a pcie1.016x lane can offer ?? i have been trying to look online but cant seem to find any info on the two comparing. I am also using a q6600 oc'd to 3.6ghz. I am hoping the cpu will get by i know it will be a squeeze!

Sure it wont have the optimal bandwith to give you the best performance out of your card but it will still perform well , your cpu is overclocked so it will have enough power to push the card without too much bottlenecking. Make sure also that you have a good amount of ram in your system.

I have Patriot
Extreme Performance Gaming Series DDR2 8GB (4 x 2GB) PC2-6400 Enhanced Latency Kit, Corsair TX750W V2, 1TB western digital caviar black 7200rpm. Mobo is the Asus P5K Deluxe wifi-ap. Just curious though if the 570 is going to have some bottleneck on a pcie 1.0 16x lane then am i better off on getting a 560 ti which woud consume less bandwidth ? Also how much % wise would i be loosing in performance out of the card running on last gen lane ?

No, you're right and pro-gamer is wrong.

okay so then i should be fine with a 570 gtx without significant performance loss ? just want to make sure im getting the best card i can get with pretty much pushing this mobo to its last limbs before i have to upgrade.
