Dear Folks

I recenlty built new system

Gibabyte Z68-UD3-B3 motherboard
corei7 2600k
msi GTX-560 Ti Hawk
16 GB Corsair 9-9-9-24 (4x kit)
i had three not so old SATA drives, 2x WD (1 TB and 500 GB) plus another Hitachi (750 GB)
WD SATA 1TB is where i have my OS
Edit: 600W cooler master silent pro power supply

im not an overclocker but i bought 2600k, i mainly use system for online gaming

most of the times i have no problem, but sometimes, the system freezes

I checked RAM with memtest, all seems fine

Can someone tell me what should I check, if there is something wrong?

Thanks in advance

For testing your ram... you burned a MEMTEST86 disk, booted to it, and made at least three successful passes testing the memory? If so, then I would run Prime95 and see if you can replicate the lockup while the system is under load. Be sure to monitor temps while running Prime95! If not, then http://www.memtest86.com/ is your friend... Past that I would hit web sites for Gigabyte and MSI for updated drivers.

On a side note... If / when you get this worked out you should consider overclocking the i7-2600k. It will respond very well with minimal voltage changes. A solid, and stable, 4.5GHz can be expected with an aftermarket CPU cooler.
