  1. Firstly, are you sure you haven't missed any connections. Go through each wire again and make sure they are all connected at the right places.
  2. Could be a lot of things...go thru these troubleshooting steps: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems

Do that list first and let us know how it goes. Another great thread that helps us to help you: how to ask for troubleshooting help: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/264823-31-troubleshooting
  3. How about the little switch on the back of the power supply?

On the back of the case, next to where to plug it into the PSU.
  4. Also there are some weird yellow and orange sort of pins and I plugged the connectors in randomly is that right or have I done it wrong so the CPU cant boot

Random plugging in is a bad thing...look at your motherboard manual. Each one of those cables has to go in the right place. One of them connects the power button to your motherboard and allows you to start the PC.

Hi I could not download the manual because I haven't got a pc available right now so I've been just typing this up on my iPad
So If you've downloaded it then can you upload a picture or something on where which wires go thanks.
  10. Thanks rugger
  11. YW - can you see it?
  12. Yes but when I plugged the wires in properly it still wouldn't start up
  13. Did you turn the switch on the rear of the PSU on? Did you breadboard before you installed it in the PC?
    Breadboarding: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/page-262730_13_0.html
    No boot troubleshooting thread: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems
  14. I did flick the switch on at the back but didn't breadboard in case I break any components and it will take to long
