I opened up the case and my psu was really hot. today i went out and got a new psu but, when i installed it nothing powered on but a small light on the back of the case, it was only on for a second. I have no idea what to do, please help!!!

I don't have a logical reason but that's what happened to my rig once ago, anyway you should try all your components on nother rig to see which's the one damagyed.

Hi :)

The bang was the power supply blowing up....BUT when that happens it can often blow the motherboard as well, plus the cpu and ram...

Give us ALL your hardware specs....so we can try and help you...

All the best Brett :)
