Help computer won't turn on.

Hi, I was playing a game when my computer made a loud bang and turned off, i could smell burnt rubber. I opened up the case and my psu was really hot. today i went out and got a new psu but, when i installed it nothing powered on but a small light on the back of the case, it was only on for a second. I have no idea what to do, please help!!!

I had the same problem before , try with another hdd

i don't have a another hdd but how would that stop the computer from starting?

I don't have a logical reason but that's what happened to my rig once ago, anyway you should try all your components on nother rig to see which's the one damagyed.

Hi

The bang was the power supply blowing up....BUT when that happens it can often blow the motherboard as well, plus the cpu and ram...

Give us ALL your hardware specs....so we can try and help you...

-gigabyte ga m68mt s2p motherboard
-hitachi 1 terabyte hhd
-cooler master gx bronze 450w psu (brand new)
-amd amd radeon hd 6950
-8g of transcend ram
-and a AMD Phenom cpu
