I'm going to be buying an i5 2500k and an ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3; I'm wondering whether I can bring over my old video card (a 9800 GTX+). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it is a PCIE 2.0 card and it will work!

Thanks for the fast reply!

Sorry to be a bother - do you know if this is compatible as well? I have this in my old computer:

RAIDMAX QUANTUM RX-700 700W ATX12V V2.2 / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Active PFC SLI Power Supply

Maybe, it's a raidmax power supply!! Raidmax power supplies have horrible quality and can't deliver their rated wattages.

Ehm, so is it compatible? I don't want to buy a new PSU unless I have to - do I?

Compatible, yes. Reliable, no.

I'm saying you are taking a gamble by using that power supply. :o  Though it should power it...If I remember correctly 9800GTX+ was the highest end card a few years back?
