Approximate Purchase Date: Within a week.

Budget Range: Around $500

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (skyrim, bf3, metro 2033, SWTOR, etc.)

Parts Not Required: OS, Keyboard , Mouse, graphics card (Galaxy GTX 480)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts:, (Microcenter for cpu)

Country: Michigan, USA

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080.

Ram- need suggestions. has to be 1.5v correct?

anything else i am forgetting about? Also just want to make sure the i3-2100 wont bottleneck the gtx 480??? may need to upgrade towards a i5-2400 or 2500k possibly. Also will the psu be powerful enough, as well as have the neccesary connectors for gpu?

Okay so I have put together a new build let me know what ya'll think. Also i have $200 Amazon credit... If you buy the 2500k with mobo from microcenter you get $50 off mobo.. So this is actually cheaper than going with an i5 2400 because of the savings on the mobo...

Go with the ASUS mothyerboard. The boards have minor differences, but the ASUS motherboard has Manufacturer Warranty of 3 years while GIGABYTE has 1 year.
