Hi,

Could I skimp out on some parts to save some money?

your mother board is for a AMD CPU, not a Intel CPU.

you need to be careful or you will be in big trouble in your order.

Either Pick another board or get an AMD(FX / Phenom II / Athlon II / Sempron 100 Series) cpu that goes with that board you selected.

You may think you now you don't want to SLI or OC, but later on you may want to and if you do, it's nice have the option now than spend more later. Just to future-proof.

The 560 Ti will give you a lot more performance over the standard 560 no Ti, plus you'll have a 750w that would allow SLI in the future. Instead of getting the SSD, you can get a standard hard drive. Any will do, the cheapest one like Hitachi and Seagate make a few that are in the high 70s low 80s for 500gb.

As for the monitor, I'd save a little.

All are nice for the price and pretty cheap compared to the Asus you've selected. But will do the job.

I like the combo.
Sure the specs of the 550Ti are not top of the line but it should work great.
Use the money you save to get a small (64-128 GB) SSD.

I was lucky enough to get one for X-Mas and it really helped my old system a ton.
I ended up O/C and getting a good SATA III RAID card and my performance went up by an amazing 150%.
I don't install any games to the SSD, but they load much faster with Windows on the SSD and the games on a better RAID.
Remember to get Windows 7 64 bit, that is x64 with an X, a six and a four.

Thanks for all the help, few last questions though before I purchase:

Are the stock case fans enough?
Do I need any extra cables?>.>
Andd do I really need a anti-static wrist strap to assemble it?

Yes plenty.
No. Should be all there.
Nope, just don't work on carpet. You can if you'd like but you don't need to.
