Best CPU for Dimension 3000

I know purchasing a new PC would be the best choice;however, that is not an option.

Current Specs:
Name Intel Pentium 4
Code Name Prescott
Package Socket 478 mPGA

Model 0TC666
Chipset Vendor Intel
Chipset Model i865P/PE/G/i848P
Chipset Revision A2
Southbridge Vendor Intel
Southbridge Model 82801EB (ICH5)
Southbridge Revision 02

I find it strange that it says the socket is 'm'PGA. Doesn't 'm' usually designate processors intended for laptops?

Is there other 478 sockets that are electrically compatible with 478mPGA?

Anyway, main question. What are the best processors for this system. If it's the 'extreme' editions that Intel puts out, I might pass those up because they will probably still be fairly expensive because they are the best. It's ok to list them though.

The fastest processor supported by that bdis 3200mhz with HT, the slowest is 2800 without HT. If you already have a hyperthreaded cpu then you're pretty much at the end of any upgrade path.
