Hey guys,

I just upgraded my CPU from a Phenom II x3 720BE to a Phenom II x6 1045T and there is no video output when I turn everything on. The fans and drives all turn on, but no display. The main board is a MSI NF750-G55 and this CPU is listed under the supported CPUs list on the MSI website. I originally thought the BIOS needed to be updated and put the old CPU back in to do so. Well that did not help, and there is still no display. I am sure everything is connected properly.

Here is a list of things I have tried:
-Clear CMOS
-Remove the battery for 10min
-Try different video cards including just the integrated video

Any ideas why the original CPU that worked for 2.5 years straight wont work anymore? I noticed a few pins were slightly bent, but that was from a package they were set in. They were an easy fix by using a mechanical pencil inversely to straighten them out.

Apparently by pressing the startup button on the motherboard a few times in a row it now works. The whole CPU change broke my GTX 560 ti (I reinstalled drivers and Windows) by making it produce white artifacts all over, but Best Buy happily replaced it for me.
