Final build, what do you think? C&C welcome

Gonna use this system for gaming, photoshop, photo editing and some 3D.

Gonna OC the system. Any advice are more than welcome

G.skill DDR3 RipJawsX F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM x 2 sets for 16 GB total
Asus P8Z68 Deluxe/GEN3 mobo
Sapphire HD 7970 3GB GDDR5 PCI-e (will go xfire in 3-4 month)
AX Corsair 850W PSU
Corsair Obsidian 650D case
NOCTUA NH-D14 CPU cooler

No SSD/HDD though or are you going to re-use parts?

Maybe get a lower end CPU to tide you over until Ivy comes out in a few months. You've got a PCIe 3.0 card and motherboard... need IB to complete the set, though PCIe 3.0 vs 2.0 doesn't make a noticeable difference at this time.

Are you planning to sell the 2600K when IB comes out?

I got HDD's
Don't see any bonuses in having an SSD.
I won't do a lot of file copying and can get along with 10 more seconds game loading.

I wanted to buy SB one year ago and than they had this SATA bug if you remember.
I am tired of waiting, still using Pentium 4 2.8 GHZ with radeon 9800 XT
The difference between PCIe 3.0 isn't huge for today, I will see the benchmarks and maybe will sell the 2600 and buy IB, will see

It's like dial-up vs broadband internet. Once you go SSD you'll never want to go back. But, to each his own...

P4 huh? This is a quite a step up.

Yea, I miss gaming played Diablo 2 for 7 years and CS for 9 I guess
Maybe I will add an SSD later
