More about final build think welcome
  1. seems like a good build- expensive but good
  2. I like it. Good stuff.

No SSD/HDD though or are you going to re-use parts?

Maybe get a lower end CPU to tide you over until Ivy comes out in a few months. You've got a PCIe 3.0 card and motherboard... need IB to complete the set, though PCIe 3.0 vs 2.0 doesn't make a noticeable difference at this time.

Are you planning to sell the 2600K when IB comes out?
  3. I got HDD's
Don't see any bonuses in having an SSD.
I won't do a lot of file copying and can get along with 10 more seconds game loading.

I wanted to buy SB one year ago and than they had this SATA bug if you remember.
I am tired of waiting, still using Pentium 4 2.8 GHZ with radeon 9800 XT :)
The difference between PCIe 3.0 isn't huge for today, I will see the benchmarks and maybe will sell the 2600 and buy IB, will see :)

It's like dial-up vs broadband internet. Once you go SSD you'll never want to go back. But, to each his own...

P4 huh? This is a quite a step up. :o
  5. Yea, I miss gaming :) played Diablo 2 for 7 years and CS for 9 I guess ;)
Maybe I will add an SSD later :)
